Exploring the narrative potential of visual media and stretching the limits of an artist autobiography. This is not a memoir, but everything is personal. Memory is honest and true, but is not concerned with factuality.
Suspended between homecoming and escaping, perpetually on a cigarette break with some of the coolest cats you have ever met after dark in the woods by the side of the road. Through re-remembering the past now lost of a life in a peripheral town, on the border between the Uncanny and Normal and communing with the real and imaginary, the folkloric and the stuff of post-modern legend. Just girl stuff. A little bit Twin Peaks but in the post-communist way. It doesn’t always make sense.
Has a thing or two to say about femininity and the pursuits of perfection, post-communism, hauntology, ghosts, nostalgia, all that liminal space stuff, the migrant experience.

Jestem skupiona na wizualnych próbach oddania nie-realiów dorastania w babińcu, pomiędzy Topieniem Marzanny a Dniem Grzybiarza wciąż powtarzając tajemnicze nocne rytuały w stałym emploi sobowtórów, kotów palaczy i groźnych choinek.
Słowa pachną wodą kwiatową a tytuły zmieniają się zależnie od pory roku.
Piosnki na cześć wypoczętej Panny Matki, komitywy przyjaznych cioć, zdrowych szlugów i wygodnych szpilek.
Socrealizm post-kapitalistyczny. Koty to też ludzie. Nostalgia to pułapka. Migracja a sprawa kobieca.
